Omar D. Bah is the Chief Operating Officer & Director of Strategy & Development of EASE. He is a strategic leader and healthcare professional dedicated to strengthening organisational performance, building high-impact partnerships, and expanding EASE’s reach across The Gambia. He brings together deep experience in clinical practice, medical physics, and operational leadership to support EASE’s mission of empowering communities through education, agriculture, and skills development.

Driven by a strong commitment to precision, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making, Omar supports EASE’s work in program delivery, strategic growth, and partnership development, particularly in rural and underserved communities. Through his leadership, he helps ensure that EASE’s initiatives in agribusiness, youth empowerment, skills training, and community development are well-managed, sustainable, and aligned with real community needs.

Alongside his role at EASE, Omar is trained in radiology and medical physics, with a background spanning diagnostic imaging, patient-centred care, radiation safety, quality assurance, and healthcare technology optimisation. As a Radiologist, he supported accurate clinical decision-making through close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and careful interpretation of complex medical data. As a Medical Physicist, he applied advanced physical and technical principles to evaluate equipment performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and translate complex concepts into practical clinical solutions.
