Eligibility
•Have been (provisionally) admitted to an eligible qualifying UT Master's programme starting in the upcoming academic year (September intake)
•Have obtained an official student number from the University of Twente
•Must not have graduated from a previous University of Twente degree programme
•Comply with the general English language test requirements (Academic IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90 or higher, with specific subscore minimums)
•Be non-EU/EEA or EU/EEA (depending on the qualifying programme criteria and Dutch study finance rules)
•Not be eligible for Dutch study grant (DUO study finance)
•Belong to the top 5% to 10% of your graduating class (proven excellent academic record / GPA)
Details
The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a prestigious scholarship for excellent students applying for a qualifying Master's programme at the University of Twente.
Students must first apply for admission to an eligible Master's programme and receive a student number before submitting their scholarship application.
In case of a two-year Master's programme, students may receive an additional UTS equal to the first year amount if they meet the continuation requirements (minimum 50% of European Credits and grade average).
Financial Benefits
•Scholarship award between €3,000 and €22,000 per year
•Award contributes toward tuition fees and study-related expenses
•Possibility of renewal for a second year for qualifying two-year Master's programmes subject to academic performance requirements
