To apply for the Hyundai Motor Group Scholarship 2026 at SOAS University of London, interested and qualified candidates should;

- Apply for a Master’s/MPhil?PhD degree program at the University of London.
- Proceed to apply for the Hyundai Scholarship by 12:00 pm (midday) UK local time on 25 April 2026 via the online application form.
- The scholarship shortlisting and awarding period is expected to be completed in June at the earliest.
- Successful candidates will be contacted first, and once all awards have been allocated, unsuccessful candidates will be notified.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Hyundai Motor Scholarships 2026, you must:
- Be an African National who is a resident of Africa.
- Be a fee-paying international applicant
- Be applying for programmes starting in 2026/27.
- Be in the top rank, as evidenced by references and transcripts.
- Applicants for the MA scholarship must possess or expect to be awarded an international equivalent to a first-class honours degree from a UK university.
- Applicants for the MPhil/PhD scholarship must possess or expect to be awarded with an international equivalent to a master’s degree with distinction from a UK university.
- Applicants with a 2:1 may also apply, but will not be given preference.
- Have applied to SOAS but are not required to have received an offer of admission by the scholarship deadline.
- Meet the English language condition of their offer of admission to study at SOAS, if applicable.

Benefits of Hyundai Motor Group Scholarship 2026
- For master’s students, the Hyundai Motor Group Scholarship covers full tuition fees, and any remaining amount from the total award of £27,730 is provided as a stipend to support living costs.
- PhD scholars will receive full tuition coverage for three years, plus the writing-up fee for the fourth year, along with an annual stipend of £22,780, paid in termly instalments.
- In addition to financial support, scholars gain exclusive access to Hyundai-led networking events and seminars, opportunities for post-study alumni engagement, and the option to apply for a Junior Internship Program at SOAS
