The Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GSCAAS) offers the CAAS Scholarship to international students wishing to pursue Master's and Doctoral degrees. The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) is a national research organization for scientific research, technology transfer, and education in agriculture. The scholarship supports study in various disciplines related to agriculture, biology, and engineering. The duration of study is typically 3 years for Master's programs and 4 years for Doctoral programs.
Eligibility Criteria
•Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens.
•Applicants must be in good health and willing to abide by the laws and decrees of China and the regulations of GSCAAS.
•Education and Age Requirements:
•Master's applicants: Must hold a Bachelor's degree and be under the age of
35.
•Doctoral applicants: Must hold a Master's degree and be under the age of
40.
•Visiting scholars: Must have an undergraduate degree or higher and be under the age of
50.
•Senior visiting scholars: Must have a Master's degree or higher or hold an associate professor title or higher, and be under the age of
50.
•Language Proficiency: Applicants must meet the English or Chinese language requirements of the program.
