The Applications are now open for the Russia JINR Summer Student Program 2026. It is a fully funded Program at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Russia. The Program is open to all the Nationals from all around the world. Participants will stay and spend their time in Dubna, Russia, for 8 weeks solving scientific and engineering tasks under the guidance of JINR Experts. There is no application fee, and IELTS is also not required. The JINR Summer Student Program is open to Undergraduatesmaster’s, and PhD Students. Air Tickets, Visas, Insurance, Accommodations, Stipends, and all other expenses are covered by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR). Objective of the JINR Summer Program

The JINR Summer Student Program was formerly known as the START Summer Student Program. The objective of this program is to attract Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students specializing in science, engineering, and IT. The goal is to connect JINR with the next generation of Young Minds.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Program is open to all the Nationals.
  • Applicants specializing in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
  • Applicants from their 3rd year of undergraduate studies up to the 1st year of their PhD program.
  • This program is for those who have never participated in the START program before.
