ERC Starting Grants are designed to allow early-stage researchers to establish their own research team and pursue groundbreaking scientific work in Europe.
Eligibility Criteria
Principal Investigators (PIs) of any nationality with 2-7 years of experience since completion of their PhD, a promising scientific career, and a track record of research achievements. Must be hosted by a public or private research organisation in an EU Member State or Associated Country.
Financial Benefits
Funding for research personnel, equipment, consumables, and other direct costs.
