Similarly, Rotary works with well-known universities that host the Rotary Peace Centres. These centres train, support, and strengthen peacebuilders through academic learning, hands-on practice, and global networking. As a result, the fully funded Rotary Peace Fellowship supports motivated young leaders from around the world who want to study at these peace centres. Therefore, the Rotary Peace Fellowship program helps peace and development professionals build strong skills through education, real-world practice, and international connections. Rotary focuses on creating change from the root level and supports this goal through this fully funded international fellowship. Through this leadership fellowship program, fellows take part in meaningful activities and practical work that can create real change in the world. The fellowship includes academic study, workshops, applied field experience, networking opportunities, and a final seminar.
Moreover, the Rotary Peace Fellowship offers two program categories to support deserving and qualified candidates. First, Rotary provides scholarships for Master’s degree students. Second, it offers fellowships for the Professional Development Certificate Program. Both programs focus on peace and development studies. Selected fellows learn from experienced, research-based teachers at top institutions. They also join a diverse learning community where they grow by learning from professionals.
Furthermore, professionals in the Rotary Professional Development program work closely with skilled peers and build practical skills during the one-year course. The leadership program blends online learning, classroom instruction, and social change projects. In addition, Rotary selects up to 50 fellows for the Master’s programs, which last from 15 months to 2 years, and up to 80 fellows for the Certificate programs. The Rotary International Peace Fellowship supports working professionals, and after completing the program, fellows earn a postgraduate diploma.
