Applicants must have completed their PhD degree no more than two years prior to the submission deadline. They must propose their own research project and identify a host professor at ETH Zurich. International applicants are welcome. The fellowship is highly competitive.

The ETH Zurich Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports young, promising researchers who have already demonstrated the ability to conduct independent research. The deadline for the September 2026 call would be around September 1, 2026.
