Details

The International Geneva Peace Fellowship Programme is a two-week intensive training and networking opportunity organized by the Geneva Graduate Institute’s Global Governance Centre. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between research and practice by bringing together young professionals and researchers from the Global South to engage with the peace and security ecosystem in Geneva. Participants attend seminars and workshops led by academic experts and practitioners, and visit various international organizations, NGOs, and diplomatic missions. The programme focuses on themes such as peacebuilding, mediation, security sector reform, and the role of international organizations in conflict resolution.

Eligibility Criteria

Young professionals and researchers from the Global South
Currently working or conducting research in the field of peace and security
Demonstrated interest in international Geneva and peacebuilding processes
Proficiency in English (the programme is conducted entirely in English)
Hold a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as social sciences, international relations, or law
Commitment to participate in the full duration of the two-week programme
