Applicants must be citizens of an eligible country (check the official website for the list, which includes many African countries). Must be 18 years or older at the time of commencing the scholarship. Must meet academic and English language requirements. Must commit to returning to their home country for a minimum of two years after the scholarship. Must not hold New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
