Eligibility
Must have an undergraduate degree or be on track to complete it before August 1 of the enrollment year.
Be 18-28 years of age as of August 1 of the enrollment year.
Proficiency in English.
Open to citizens from all countries (including African countries).
Details
Schwarzman Scholars is a fully funded one-year Master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, designed to prepare the next generation of global leaders. The program focuses on public policy, international relations, and economics. Applications for the 2027-2028 cohort (for applicants with degrees from institutions outside of the U.S. and China) are expected to open in April 2026.
Financial Benefits
Covers tuition fees, room and board, travel to and from Beijing, an in-country study tour, required course books and supplies, a Lenovo laptop, health insurance, and a personal stipend.
